The Lucia Bride, or Saint Lucia - she is known by many names, in many lands. In Sweden she is, by tradition, the eldest daughter of the family, who, at early dawn during the Christmas Season, appears at her parent's chambers dressed in a long white gown sashed in red. She wears a crown of lighted candles in her hair, and brings hot coffee and sweet saffron buns.(Helen Ingeborg)
