Twelve Days of Christmas
Twelve Days of Christmas
On the first day of Christmas
my true love sent to me:
a partridge in a pear tree.
On the second day of Christmas
my true love sent to me:
two turtles dove and
a partridge in a pear tree
On the third day of Christmas
my true love sent to me:
three french hens
two turtle doves and
a partridge in a pair tree
...
On the twelfth day ofChristmas
my true love sent to me:
twelve lords a-leaping
eleven ladies dancing
ten pipers piping
nine drummers drumming
eight maids a-milking
seven swans swimming
six geese laying
five golden rings
four calling birds
three french hens
two turtles dove and
a partridge in a pear tree

Away in a manger
"Away in a manger, no crib for a bed,
the little Lord Jesus laid down His sweet head.
The stars in the sky looked down where He lay,
the little Lord Jesus asleep in the hay.
The cattle are lowing, the baby awakes,
but little Lord Jesus no crying He makes.
I love Thee, Lord Jesus, look down from the sky,
And stay by my cradle til morning is nigh.
Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask Thee to stay,
Close by me forever, and love me I pray.
Bless all dear children in Your tender care,
And take us to heaven, to live with Thee there."
